Tk 2.5cr embezzlement: Jashore Education Board files complaint with ACC

Jashore Education Board Secretary AMH Ali R Reza submitted a formal complaint to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) this morning alleging embezzlement and theft of Tk 2.5 million from the board through forgery of cheques. The board's Assistant Accountant Abdus Salam has been absconding since the incident was revealed the matter was brought to light, our Benapole reporter reports, that he has been quoting Jashore the Education Board's Chairman, Professor Mollah Hossain "A complaint was lodged alleging embezzlement of Tk 2.5 crore by forging cheques. We have started investigating the matter already and collected necessary documents from the board," said ACC Director in Deputy Md Nazmus Sadat.
